Who Are The Boosters

Dear Friend, We would like to take this opportunity to introduce you to the Milton High School Boosters.

Athletic fees paid by Milton High School families only cover 20% of the annual athletic budget. The Boosters help fund this shortfall so that high school sports are accessible. In 2022 and 2023 Milton Boosters approved funding for some of these items:

Hudi Focus Cameras for teams and athletes to create highlight reels - the reels are vital for college recruitment
Partially paid for purchase of van to transport smaller teams to events which saves on overall bus costs for district
Milton Coaches Gear
Thank you flags for the golf courses
Pitching Machine for Softball
Pitching Machine for Baseball
Catcher and Goalie equipment (Softball, Boys and Girls Lax)
Lax goal carts (to move the heavy nets)
Championship Banners and Special Recognition Banners for the MHS Field House
New game nets for Volleyball
Give and go passer and shooter tutor for Girls/Boys Hockey
Student buses to Championship games
Memorabilia for championship teams
Secured sponsored Spirit Banners lining the high school road
Drill and flags for Ski Team
Starting blocks and National uniforms for Track teams
Replaced kitchen appliances including warmer and freezer for the Snack Shack

AND….. Scholarship Awards totaling over 15K to 25 MHS Seniors Athletes at the year-end Varsity Celebration. Family must be a member of Boosters in order to be eligible for scholarships.

Mission Statement

The mission of the Milton High School Boosters Club is to support and promote our sports teams, to encourage and recognize outstanding scholastic achievement, sportsmanship and character both on and off the field, to contribute to the spirit and enthusiasm of the high school athletes and provide a pathway for positive involvement by the community with Milton High School. 501(c)(3)

The Milton High School Booster Club is a group of parents, volunteers and other interested parties whose mission is to enrich the MHS Athletic community and the community at large by providing financial support and assistance for the Milton High School Athletics. The Booster Club was established as a support to encourage parent participation and to raise funds to enhance and expand the athletic programs that are available to each student at Milton High School. The Booster Club believes strongly that parent involvement during the high school years can be a key to the success of the individual student. The Booster Club shall endeavor to recruit volunteers to support athletic events and shall sponsor fund raising activities to benefit the athletic programs.

The Booster Club recognizes that participation in high school athletics benefits everyone, and the Booster Club promotes opportunity to build and strengthen relationships among all involved; the student body, MHS staff and administration, parents and the community.

what we do

The Boosters raises funds through our Swing For Sports annual event, concession stands sales indoors and at Brooks field, and through memberships. The money raised is then used to offer scholarships for senior student athletes that are continuing on to post-secondary education. It is also used to support teams in obtaining new uniforms and equipment that the Athletic budget and user fees can not support. And an annual banquet to recognize all varsity athletes, individual awards and team successes.
